Trying to stave off the Sunday evening blues with a healthy dose of cinematic joy, and there is no purer, more perfect version of that than Paulina García dancing on her own, Robyn-style, in the exquisite final scene of Sebastián Lelio’s “Gloria.”

While I didn’t hate “Gloria Bell”, and certainly harbor no-ill will against Julianne or her performance, the remake fails to capture the magic of the original, as remakes so often do, so I encourage anyone reading this who may also be in search of some bliss or catharsis on this Sunday evening in March to seek out “Gloria.” You won’t regret it.
